Personal: Scumbag Restaurant Trolls Romero Brooks
A while ago I was celebrating my dude Q’s birthday out at Universal Citywalk. He’s lived in Southern California for over five years and still hasn’t been to Universal Studios. For $72 a pop, I don’t blame him. He decided on Hard Rock Cafe for dinner and we made a decent meal of it. The desserts were especially good. So we get the check in, and I just had to snap this picture:
How the f*ck does a “voluntary” 18% get added to the bill? Wouldn’t that make it involuntary? I was tempted to pull a Scrooge and demand the waitress bring us the actual tab with no gratuity.
