Filmed “run and gun” style over 2 days at the Firearms Academy of Seattle, Rob Pincus introduces new I.C.E. Training students to the concepts of shooting in, around, and through vehicles.

In a world of buzz words like “fighting”, “defensive”, “dynamic”, “tactical” and “adaptive”, etc. Rob chose “Counter Ambush” for the name of this DVD series which is made for everyday shooters, the “good guys” with the legal right to carry who in a critical incident where time is short and pressure is on may have to deploy a firearm. And in most situations where a gun might come into play there is typically an attempt to ambush the “good guy”. Hence: COUNTER AMBUSH.
The upcoming COUNTER AMBUSH DVD Series will cover shooting and situations in unorthodox environments and off the typical square range. Focusing on real life examples of where the “good guys” might be forced to use their firearms in the context of a critical incident.
The along with COUNTER AMBUSH: VEHICULAR, soon available in major shooting retailers and online, the series will also feature DVD’s on relevant topics like COUNTER AMBUSH: HOME DEFENSE, and COUNTER AMBUSH: CONCEALED CARRY and COUNTER AMBUSH: ON THE STREET.
These DVD’s will use real world examples, situations, and sets to highlight the advantages and dangers of certain situations, environments, tactics, and gear.
Why? To really be prepared and have a prepared and defensive mindset: Is it correct and “real” to simply train with your nomex gloves and thigh rig on a square range instead of actually using your real carry gear and really shooting out of a car? The COUNTER AMBUSH SERIES of DVD’s and classes will provide this for the students.
The video also includes a brand new pistol for Taurus, the SIRT Training Pistol from Mike Hughes of Top Shot and Next Level Training, vehicle safes from Gun Vault, holsters from Crossbreed and Praetor Defense, rifle cases from Pelican, and excellent ammo provided by our friends at Red River Ammo.
Filmed on a closed range in a highly controlled environment with safety officers supervising the cameras and students. Remote controlled cameras and tripods were used for downrange photography.
Freedom Films’ site isn’t operational yet, so there’s no concrete date on Counter Ambush. In the meantime, Youtube will have to do for you shooting enthusiasts.
