Lauren Cohan Signed On As 3rd Season Regular For The Walking Dead
WOOT! The only eye candy we’re treated to on The Walking Dead just got signed on to be a series regular for season 3, according to TV Line. Lauren Cohan used her acting chops as the feisty Maggie to earn the title as a regular for the third season and we couldn’t be happier. She’s actually one of the women on the show who’s reasoning doesn’t seem to be severely impaired. While this is definitely welcome news, it’s still no guarantee that she’ll survive the season. Shane and Dale both got killed off towards the end of the season. And with Sophia biting the dust first, no one is safe from getting written out of the show which I think increases the tension for each and every character throughout the episodes.
Should Maggie meet her maker, I shudder to think what will happen to Glenn. Perpetual Forever Alone face perhaps. In other news, Season 3 is going to have 16 episodes! Three more than the last and hopefully with an extended season premiere. Hopefully this means the budget will be increased instead of having to be stretched out. We need more of a walker presence dammit, cgi’d or not.
