If You Need Another Excuse To Drink With Friends, Try Playing Zombicide.
For the record, this game looks incredibly well done. This amazing Kickstarter project will arrive at your door ready to play for only $25. Pitch in $10 more, and you’ll get two miniatures that won’t be included with the commercially made game. While September is quite a while to wait for Zombicide to release, keep in mind the folks at Guillotine Games came to Kickstarter to get funds to order a larger run to reduce the price of each unit. You can wait five months right?
Each box contains 71 minis, with specialized enemies all with different strengths and weaknesses. Hope your dice rolling skills are on point player. Donate $25 to the fund before May 6th, and you’ll get a figurine of a cop who looks suspiciously close to Bruce Willis in Die Hard, but with more hair. Throw in $10 more, and not only will you get “Nick” aka Bruce aka John McClain, but you’ll also get El Cholo, who’s pretty much a spot on replica of our favorite Latino action hero Danny Trejo. While I flip flopped on shelling out the $35, I saw another character that is a cult classic in my mind. Michael Douglas’ character from Falling Down stars in the game with twin Uzis. TAKE MY MONEY. TAKE IT NOW. Once it ships in September, I’ll find a way to incorporate alcohol consumption into game play. Then when I sober up, you all will get a review. That is if I don’t shred the board in a fit of drunken rage from losing. Sore loser? Nope. I prefer the term “victory protestor.” If the victory isn’t my own of course.
