Hot! Resident Evil 6 Reveals Ada Wong Campaign And “Agent Hunt” Mode

Resident Evil 6 did more than just bring “true” zombies back to the franchise. Now there’s two different modes that offer players a break from the multiplayer mode they’re expecting: Ada Wong mode and “Agent Hunt.” I know what you’re thinking fellow creepers. And yes there will be plenty of “dat ass” views in her campaign. The campaign actually runs parallel to the regular campaign and will share different perspectives of the same cut scene, which is nice since it figures to be a part of the same story arc. While the original campaign will be more action packed, Ada’s quest will be more puzzle based with real time problem solving in the form of corpses and finessing walkers into just the right position to accomplish the goals you need to advance.

The other (and perhaps more interesting) mode is labeled “Agent Hunt” and it’s clear cut what your mission is once you start off. Find the good guys and kill/infect them. According to Kotaku, once you start off as the infected, you can communicate via chat to hunt down the unlucky heroes and take them down. After you’ve beaten the game the mode will be activated, and let you jump in on others’ campaign in select stages. Which really sucks if you’re the hero because in most of the scenes above they’re getting their asses handed to them. Luckily players in campaign mode can turn the option off if they just want to find more unlocked items or finish the game without getting clusterf*cked by a well planned mini horde. While the playable zombies certainly aren’t as fast as say Sherry or Jake, they do get weapons and you can’t tell them apart from the standard AI enemies in game. And also turn into mini dragon looking things. What, wait? So essentially you have to kill the infected three times. Once in regular form, then they sprout weird phallic tentacles (those crazy Japanese), and then after you keep shooting them they vacate human form and turn into Gremlins on bath salts. Color me intrigued. Then color me back to brown, because I like my skin tone.

Resident Evil 6 is set to drop October 6th.
