Hot! Shaun Of The Dead Meets 16 Bit Consoles

A Shaun of The Dead 16 bit video game??? Alas, it is not to be. What you see is artist Aled Lewis’ creation that he’s putting forth at Gallery88‘s Crazy 4 Cult show in NYC, opening 8/9/12. The first 50 prints will be signed by the man himself and if you live in the NY area, cop this sh*t. The gallery known for it’s pieces referencing pop culture is spreading its wings to the city that never sleeps and renderings like these will definitely bring it in with a bang.

As disappointed as I was that Simon Pegg hadn’t cosigned licensing to create what would surely have been one of the greatest zombie games ever, I still appreciate the work of Lewis with Shaun and Ed battling the undead outside of their favorite pub The Winchester. While the print isn’t on sale yet, there maybe some reprints after the show ends in early September.
